We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our high-performing team.
This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to play a vital role in our manufacturing operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing issues with electrical equipment, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), specifically Siemens PLC and Siemens Controls.
They will also be responsible for performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
This role requires a solid understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and other industrial systems.
Responsibilities:
1.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, detect and replace defective control modules, test and make adjustments to automated production machinery.
2.
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
3.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
4.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and PLC programming in performing duties.
5.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
6.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, contractors and/or customers and effectively handle conflict situations.
7.
Assist and train other maintenance and/or other technical level employees.
8.
Maintain and secure work tools, ensure cleanliness and functionality of work area, and adhere to safety procedures.
9.
Participate in continuous improvement activities that enhance the company's ability to achieve quality, cost, and delivery goals.
Qualifications:
1.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2.
Proven experience working with PLC, Siemens PLC, and Siemens Controls.
3.
Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and other systems.
4.
Familiarity with industrial control systems and their application.
5.
Demonstrated ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and schematics.
6.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
7.
Ability to work independently and in team settings.
8.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
9.
Ability to manage time and priorities effectively to meet deadlines.
10.
High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus.
