DIRECTV is seeking a Principal Marketing Advanced Analytics professional with expert level experience to analyze data from multiple sources including datalakes, data warehouses, and unstructured data, etc.
In this role, you will use predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and other analytical techniques to collect, explore, and identify the appropriate data to be analyzed to explain or predict behavior, solve a variety of business problems, and build business cases.
Here's what you'll do:
Business case development, big data analytics modeling using tools (Ex:
including but not limited to:
Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, Synapse, H2O Driverless AI, etc.
), and business process integration.
Gather, analyze, and interpret a wide variety of data to identify causal relationships, trigger points, and ultimately make predictions.
Understand common model algorithms with the ability to build and fine tune predictive models and validate models to ensure accuracy.
Quantify significance of data variances, applying an array of statistical methods ranging from traditional to newly developed within the Big Data space.
Use traditional modeling techniques to build models that support decision making.
Develop reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids in support of findings.
Effectively communicate findings from data analyses to assist business partners with decision making.
Daily Activities:
Responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of customer and prospect data pipelines across platforms and technologies supporting self-service reporting, data science and advance analytics activities.
Delivery and ongoing productions support of pipelines, data sets, or complex algorithms to support the segmentation business process.
Build and/or refresh Enterprise and micro-segmentation on a reoccurring basis.
Responsible for solution architecture, providing technical guidance on how to use different MarTech platforms.
Development of test & learn methodologies to measure the impact of segmentation activation.
Responsible for the identification and resolution of technical issues, develop and implement continuous improvements and innovation in support of sales, service and marketing automation and orchestration.
Develop the dashboards and BI visualization platform with the recommended KPI's for each functional stakeholder team.
Develop analysis, reports, and recommendations to deliver continuous improvement in segment performance and identify new opportunities.
What you'll need to be successful:
Master's degree from an accredited University in a Quantitative field of study such as Data Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering or Physics preferred.
Typically requires 8-10 years of experience in marketing analytics.
Subscriber based business experience a plus!Expert level technical professional.
Advisor on technical knowledge and DirecTV technologies.
Considered an expert in Advanced Analytics.
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; capable of explaining complex information to others in a straightforward manner.
Expert in Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, Synapse, and H2O Driverless AI.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones.
Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
